Back in the early 2000’s I was part of several forums, including ones with hobbies I had no interest in such as golf and deer hunting. Back then, even with text, I could tell that every single person was different and had their own ideas. I made a lot of friends online, including MMOs like RuneScape. Today, AI has taken over social media and in the midst of all this, is a sinister plan to make everything the same. This is the work of globalists who want absolute power and the NPCs are the perfect candidates. Everyone talks the same, acts the same, attends the same schools, does the same activities, etc etc. Real diversity was celebrated in the 1990’s. Today we only have forced diversity, only applying if you fit certain agendas. Our society became tribalist in just 20 - 30 years, and I hate it.

I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D in my build. AMD website says the max operating temp at the junction is 90 C. With my water cooler, under heavy game load, it gets to about 75. Used to be about 85-87 until the wayer cooler came along. I was always told by multiple porffesionals and IT guys that anything over 95 sustained is usually bad news for any CPU.

Windows were a nightmare 20 years ago and looks like they still are.

This makes me think of all of those people like Matt Walsh saying that adults shouldn't play video games or watch anime. I don't see how someone could live such a miserable life without going insane. I'm going to continue playing video games, watching anime, and dressing up my dolls. If I ever have a kid, they'll have access to a large video game library, a co-op partner, and someone to keep them out of trouble in the online multiplayer lobbies. There also won't be the risk of them being given Bible Black to watch because the parent is too lazy to research the "christian cartoon" they saw in a second hand store before giving it to their 12 year old daughter to watch during a sleepover.

The common phrase we joke about them is they got a new firmware update. They all fall in line and is terribly predictable from the flags they wave or how they talk to people. more reason for use virtual machines and the main and valuable information stored in the cloud or a hdd, sata or a nvme drive apart more specifically using mac or linux as main os and windows on a vm or windows with modified options

I had similar thoughts on this aswell. You should grow up, as in learn to effectively function in the real world and in society. But never stop being a kid, as in stay curious and heartfully enjoy the good things in private life without shame. I had the luck of growing up with good parents in a good neighborhood, where i enjoyed a worry free life until my later teens (setting aside some other kids being assholes). Only recently did i realize how difficult it is to maintain such a well sheltered system and that it seems almost impossible to do for any future kids i may have. Inevitably i turned out a lefty at first, not having experienced much hardships. But once i encountered the raging collapse of the youtube atheism movement, i started taking a much more thorough look at how things work on a larger scale. There were so many false assumptions that i had made about the world. So there is also the danger in the opposite way, that you learn about reality too late and completely reject it, staying in your own childish delusions and being a burden to everyone around you.

This is why I build my own PCs. I use motherboards from AMD (Askrock) mostly. And I get the $10 license keys for Windows 10/11. Both the TPM and the online activation can by bypassed this way. A simple youtube/google search will show you how. Don't buy PCs, learn to build them. The OEM's are all in bed with MS.

Agreed, I don't like the forcing of these securtiy features. I have a pretty old home system but it still runs great and does what I want it to do. Would I have a better experience if I upgraded? Yes. But I don't want to spend that $ now, and possible not anytime soon. I'm most likely going to stay on Windows 10 past the EOL date due to the TPM requirement. If Windows ever went to total lockdown that required I put my own files in the cloud only, and not have a local copy, I would never use that OS as I would think a lot of people wouldn't. If there wasn't an option to use a non-paid version of Office products, I wouldn't keep using it.
